Israel Backs Russia’s Avowal That Syrian Chemical Arms Are Secure … “For Now”

.

“At the moment, [Syria’s] chemical weapons are under control,” said senior Israeli defense official Amos Gilad Sunday, Dec. 23, echoing the statement by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov Saturday that “the Syrian government has consolidated its chemical weapons in one or two locations amid a rebel onslaught and they are under control for the time being.”

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu then said enigmatically: “We are facing a near possibility of far-reaching changes in the Syrian regime with ramifications for the sensitive weaponry [chemical, biological] present there.”

Like Lavrov’s comments, neither Israeli statement accounted for the sudden reversal of events in the last 48 hours in the turbulent history of its northern neighbor. As recently as Friday, Bashar Assad’s Scuds and warplanes were battling the rebels to keep his big chemical and biological warfare arsenals at the Al Safira complex near Aleppo out of the hands of al Qaeda adherents who were moving in fast on this target. Twenty four hours later, the Russian foreign minister asserted the weapons were secure.

Military sources disclose that the battle of al Safira was abruptly interrupted by a foreign military force which stepped in and stopped the fighting in order to commandeer the chemical and biological stocks.  This force has been identified as a Russian special unit.

The entire episode is covered in a heavy blanket of secrecy, imposed from Moscow, Washington, Jerusalem and Damascus. They are using the public preoccupation with the holiday period in the West to keep it dark. However, from the scraps of evidence available, it is transpires that the foreign special unit reaching al Safira gave both sides, the Syrian army and the rebels, an ultimatum to hold their fire until the arsenals were removed, or else this special unit would mete out crushing punishment.

Since then, the Syrian army and rebels do not appear to have resumed fighting and it is not clear which side remains in control of the al Safira military complex.

One of the many enigmas surrounding this episode is whether the Russians carried out their operation for the capture of Assad’s WMD alone, or in conjunction with the US and Israel. And whether this cooperation extended up to and including implementation, or was confined to the intelligence and preparatory stages.

Amos Gilad’s comment points to a measure of international cooperation.  Furthermore, it is not clear whether the Syrian ruler gave permission for the removal of his unconventional weapons out of the reach of the rebels. Neither is their destination known.  And most of all, what makes Russian and Israeli officials so sure that they are in safe hands?

In his statement Saturday, Lavrov divulged that it had been “consolidated in one or two places” and that “Russian military advisers… kept close watch over [Syria’s] chemical arsenal.”

The Israeli defense official was in rare tune with Moscow on the fate of the Syrian ruler. He asserted that the civil war between Assad and opposition forces fighting to topple him had become deadlocked, but that the Syrian leader showed no signs of heeding international calls to step down.

“Suppose he (Assad) does leave, there could be chaos … in the Middle East you never know who will come instead. We need to stay level-headed; the entire world is dealing with this (another reference to multinational action in Syria). At the moment, chemical weapons are under control, despite the fact that President Bashar al-Assad has lost control of parts of the country,” Gilad said.

Assad’s Deadly Agenda: First, Chemicals. Next, Powerful Russian Hypersonic Ballistic Missile

Russia Makes A Grave Move Toward WW3
Missile Crisis 2.0 In The Making

In Response To American ‘Patriot’ Missiles in Turkey
Moscow Has Upped the Ante Vigorously Against the West
And the West Has No Viable Answer Against It

The Russians have just given Syrian tyrant Bashar Assad
his most sophisticated weapon thus far – the Iskander cruise missile,
which has a hypersonic speed of 1.3 miles per second.

.

On Dec. 5, the first American, Dutch and German Patriot missiles landed in Turkey. Within hours, three Russian warships had put into Syria’s Tartus port – the Novocherkassk and Saratov landing craft and the MB-304 supply vessel. Aboard were 300 marines. But there were not only fighting men. They also delivered a fearsome weapon for Assad’s army and a game changer in the Syrian conflict: 24 Iskander 9K720 (NATO codenamed SS-26 Stone) cruise missile systems, designed for theater level conflicts.

While NATO unpacked the Patriots in Turkey, a dozen mobile batteries – each carrying a pair of Iskander missiles – were fixed into position opposite Turkey, and another dozen, opposite Jordan and Israel. At all their stations, the Russian missiles are pointed at US military targets.

So, while the West was gripped with alarm over Assad’s poison Sarin gas shells and bombs and gearing up for missile attacks on Turkey, the Russians were injecting into the Syrian war field the most sophisticated weapon of death thus far.

The West and Israel have no answer for the Iskander’s hypersonic speed of more than 1.3 miles per second with a 280 mile-range and a 1,500-pound warhead which destroys targets with pinpoint accuracy. It is also nuclear-capable.

Russian President Vladimir Putin promised two US presidents, George W. Bush and Barack Obama, not to let the Iskander reach the hands of Syria or Iran.

Moscow has no illusions that once in Syria, the lethal cruise missile will pretty soon reach Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Saturday, Dec. 15, Iran’s chief of staff Gen. Hassan Firouzabadi warned that the Patriot missiles in Turkey portended world war. He was referring to the missile-versus-missile face-off in Syria .

By giving Assad the Iskanders, Moscow has plumped itself squarely in the Tehran-Damascus-Hizballah camp, while on the contrary president Obama is carefully holding back from an unreserved commitment to the Syrian insurgency.

Some Western circles see Russia’s military intervention in the Syrian conflict as presaging Bashar Assad’s early downfall. The reality is that before he falls, the Syria ruler is getting ready for desperate measures – first by unleashing chemical warfare and, after that, using the deadly Iskanders for a last throw against his enemies.

And then, what? As it says in Isaiah 17:1,

“The burden of Damascus:  Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it will be a ruinous heap.”

The world is on the verge of the greatest cataclysm since the Flood of Noach; but most people, imbued by shear fear and irresponsibility, pretend to ignore what is constantly clearly evident all over the news: Worldwide society is rapidly collapsing at every level, planetary nature is inevitably agonizing, and a growing threat of nuclear doom extends is dark and lethal arms around all of us pulling us toward an abyss that seems to be inescapable. Meanwhile, we persistently continue in our perennial attempts to escape our bleak reality through empty positivism whose only result is to put us to sleep in front of mortal danger. Denial and wishful thinking will NOT change the course of history as prophesied. Only honest repentance and sincere and meaningful prayer, accompanied by selfless acts of humanity that arise from our conscious study of Torah shall merit this world to climb out of the hole in which we all are speedily falling. But the real problem is: are the masses willing to do it? Are you? Am I?

Notwithstanding, the best part of all this ugly panorama we face is how bad it is getting. We all know that immediately after the greatest darkness of the night is when the light of day appears, and immediately after the worst and more frequent pains of delivery arrives a beautiful baby. Si it is with the current situation of our world.

We all need to understand that if there is not a humble change of heart among the masses of the world — and even more importantly among the Jews — we shall have to go through what was prophesied by our holy Prophets in the old days … and it is not going to be nice. But after that terrible pain and indescribable horror a New World shall arise lead by Moshiach under the Commands and Rules of HaShem. Then, at last, the world shall enjoy true and lasting Justice and Peace. But it could have being the easy way! Who is at fault? You and I. After all, in the same way that denial and wishful thinking are signs of personal dysfunction, so is projection.

At the UN Syria Reaffirmed Her Intentions To Reconquer The Israeli Golan Heights

Undoubtly, a Stupid Collective Insanity is the Most Common Trait Among Arabs

They Have Lost Every War Against Tiny Israel, But they Still Hope

The Next War Will Be Their Last Demise
Because they will Go Massively Destructive
Against Israel and Shall be completely Wiped Out
Read the Book of Amos Chapter 1 and 2

Al-Moallem

“Israel the only nuclear power in the region,” pathetically whines Al-Moallem

The Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Moallem addressed the UN General Assembly, and cynically calls on the so-called “international community” to force Israel to join Non-Proliferation Treaty as means to disarm Mideast of WMDs so it can be an easy target for the genocidal armies of Islam.  And while at it, he reaffirmed his country’s belicose intentions of recapturing the Golan Heights.  This were some of the main issues that his rebel-attribulated boss, Bashar al-Assad, send him there to present to the UN.  He also addressed the UN General Assembly‘s annual ministerial meeting, accusing some UN Security Council members of supporting “terrorism” by Syrian rebels.  The war in Syria is war amongst terrorists, but sides are as evil as the other side.

He said that calls for tyrant Bashar Assad to step down were

“…blatant interference in the domestic affairs of Syria, and the unity of its people and its sovereignty.”

Arabs, Communists and Liberals have a common language of deception: they all are masters of euphemism to distort Reality.

Al-Moallem said that what is going on in Syria must not “shift the focus” from what he claimed were the real issues – the Palestinians and the Golan Heights.  Really!  In this way this Muslim monster brushes aside the many thousands of civilians killed by his governmnet in Syria as small bananas.

With utmost hypocrisy he declared that Syria reaffirms its commitment to its so-called “natural right” to “restore” the “Syrian” Golan Heights adding that Damascus rejects Israel’s attempts to change the region’s “natural landscape” while “violating Security Council resolutions.”

While the Sykes-Picot Agreement determined the borders between the British and French controlled areas in the Middle East, including the Golan, that bilateral aggrement never became an international agreement, or law, recognizing the Golan as actual Syrian property.

Historically, Syria has had very little connection to this region, as it was very sparsely populated, and mostly by Druze, Bedouins, and other migratory Arab peasants. During its (mere) 19 years of independent control of the Golan, Syria’s only real usage of this region was utilizing its strategic topography for shooting down at Israeli villages in the Hula valley.

Few people ever mention the historical fact that Israel won the Golan in a defensive war in 1967, as Syria was aiming to destroy Israel. Therefore, Israel has every right to keep it.  Furthermore, unlike Judea and Samaria (won from aggressive Jordan in the same war) today there are no Syrians living in the Golan, and thus Israel does not control another people in this case.  In sharp contrast to Syria’s deadly intentions for the Golan, Israel has utilized it for far better purposes. Fine wineries, excellent apple plantations, cattle ranches, beautiful parks for hiking, a ski resort, electric windmills and more.

Finally, there is the huge Syrian hypocrisy. Nearly a century ago, Turkey forcefully usurped from Syria, a region called Iskenderoon, which is few times bigger than the Golan, having far greater strategic and economic importance. Needless to say, for all these years the Syrians have stayed mum on this issue and never once dared to take this land back from Turkey.

Al-Moallem further added that Syria is renewing its call for the international community to recognize a Palestinian state and blamed Israel for the “failure of efforts” to bring about a “just and comprehensive” peace in the Middle East.

He noted that the so-called “Israel’s settlement policy” violates “understandings” adopted as a basis for peace between Israel and the Palestinians, and claimed that sanctions against Syria serve only Israel’s “expansionist interests.”  Silly me, I suppose that there must be some kind of Jewish Jihad going on, of which I’m not aware, trying to bring about a Jewish Caliphate.

Finally, while addressing the nuclear issue, the ridiculous Syrian thug-diplomat called upon the international community to “free the Middle East of WMDs.” He called on the world to compel Israel, “the only nuclear power in the region,” to join the NPT and allow IAEA inspection of its nuclear facilities.  Of course, he forgot to mention that membership with the IAEA is not compulsory but voluntary.  He also obviated the fact that we have had nuclear weapons since the early 1960’s, before even the Six Day War in 1967 and we did not used them because we did not see the necessity for it — the Sampson Option is an ultimate resort if we are on the verge to be annihilated or attacked with weapons of mass destruction.  In 1973, when his country in unison with other no less evil Arab countries viciously attacked us on Yom Kippur and killed many of our people while initially taking lots of territory, we did not used them — even though we could have blown all the Muslim cities in the Middle East.  It is a proven fact that Israel is the only humanitarian and responsible nation in the Mideast, all the others are a pack of rabid wolves thirsty for blood — most of all Jewish blood.  Israel’s nuclear power is for deterrence only; if the Arabs had atomic bombs they would immediately use them to exterminate the Jewish nation and later on dance in the streets while giving away candies.  Well, fat chance!

Jewish Prophecy is very clear in respect to what is about to come out of all of this.  The Arabs, emboldened by the complicit cowardice of the West, will launch an all-out war with weapons of mass destruction against Israel.  Then, for the sake of survival, Israel shall obliterate all the surrounding nations with our nuclear power.  The responsibility shall be upon the shoulders of the Muslim Arabs and the West.  Remember, you should never corner a threatened cat, because it will surely jump on you and take your eyes out.  But, again, the Western population has become too cowardly and indolent, their evil governments are in collusion with the Arabs against Israel, and the Arabs are too stupefied due to their fanaticism with their religion of darkness. So, there is no much hope for lasting peace in the world until those who are bent on its conquest or destruction are taken down.  It is very sad, but very Real.  Live and see it happen.

Hamas Signs A Binding Military Commitment To An Iran-Led War On Israel

The Islamic Stranglehold on Israel Tightens

All the Current Moves Indicate an Imminent Major War

The International Community Sees All the Moves Toward War in Absolute Silence
in Hope that Israel Will Be Finally Annihilated From the Face of the Earth
But Hear then Scream in Protest When Israel Starts Defeating
the Genocidal Barbarians from Islam.
The Clock is Ticking toward WW3

.

Muslim Barbarians of Hamas

Clearly Islam is a a Cult of Violence

Hamas leader Mahmoud A-Zahar and deputy commander of its military arm, Marwan Issa, spent the second week of September in Beirut and Tehran finalizing and signing protocols covering a binding commitment by the radical Hamas rulers of the Gaza Strip to join Iran, Syria and Hizballah in a war agaisnt Israel, debkafile’s exclusive military sources disclose.

The protocols set out in detail the circumstances, procedures and terms governing Hamas’s participation in a conflict, whether it arises from an Israeli attack on Iran’s nuclear program or the involvement of Iran’s allies, Syria and Hizballah, in comprehensive or partial hostilities against Israel. Hamas agreed to obey any orders to attack the Jewish state coming from Tehran, Damascus or Beirut.

Tehran also required A-Zahar and Issa to attach their signatures to copies of the military understandings Iranian National Security Director Saeed Jalili concluded with Bashar Assad during his visit to Damascus on Aug. 7. Those understandings touched off the massive Iranian airlift currently carrying hundreds of military personnel and weapons day by day to the embattled Syrian regime. Hamas’s signature provided a booster shot of 22,000 trained fighters including reservists for the battle array of elite Iranian al Qods Brigades units building up in Syria and Lebanon and taking up positions along Israel’s borders.

This buildup prompted the large-scale snap military exercise Israel staged on the Golan Wednesday, Sept. 19. Most of the forces stayed on after the exercise was over and spread out along the Syrian and Lebanese borders.

The directives Hamas leaders received in Tehran after their meetings with top officials were detailed and precise. They were handed down in person by Defense Minister Ahmed Wahidi, Revolutionary Guards Chief Gen. Ali Jafari, the Al Qods Brigades commander, Qassem Soleimani, and a select group of Iranian intelligence experts on the Israel.

Those orders were presented in the language of commands and brooked no argument. Tehran had two goals:

  1. To leave no leeway for the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood, of which the Palestinian Hamas is an offshoot, to veto the pledges Hamas signed in Tehran. The Palestinian Hamas was put on notice that the group was now under contract to defer to Tehran in military matters ahead of Cairo.
  2. Iran, Hizballah and Syria instructed Hamas to stop obstructing Jihad Islami’s activities in the Gaza Strip and be ready to operate in harmony with Iran’s Palestinian proxy against Israel. In a potential outbreak of war, both must take their orders from Iran’s Middle East command.

For placing itself under Tehran’s jackboot, Hamas was assured of the resumption of Iranian economic aid and fresh supplies of missiles, advanced hi-tech war equipment to improve the accuracy of its rocket attacks on Israel – which rarely hit much – and anti-air weapons systems.

Iran had been keeping Hamas short pending the guarantees and pledges of allegiance A Zahar carried to Tehran and Beirut in the round trips he made between Sept 8 and 13.  Even then, to make sure there were no loopholes in their accords, the Iranians forced the Hamas delegation to break its journey home to the Gaza Strip in Beirut, repeat their commitments to Tehran to Hizballah leader Hassan Nasrallah and re-sign the documents in his presence. Failing to honor the deal, they warned, would elicit the immediate cutoff of Iranian aid and supplies.

Hamas’ decision to unreservedly hitch its star to the Iranian wagon produced immediate fallout – especially on Egyptian-Israeli relations and counter-terror operations in Egyptian Sinai.

Friday, Islamist terrorists breached the Egyptian-Israeli border from Sinai, shot dead IDF Corp. Netanel Yahalomi and injured a second soldier, before the IDF killed three of the gunmen in a shootout.

In the last year, Sinai has become the stamping ground for al Qaeda cells and allied Islamic terrorists. Egypt’s new rulers have proved unequal to the job of controlling the territory. At the same time, Cairo is demanding the revision of the 1979 peace treaty’s military clauses. President Mohamed Morsi said Sunday, Sept 23, that his government would uphold the peace pact with Israel ONLY IF America commits to helping the Palestinians attain self-rule.

Israeli leaders are now asking what guarantees is President Morsi offering for offsetting any Iranian-orchestrated Hamas war operations from Gaza in line with the accord they have just signed in Tehran and Beirut.

Furthermore, they ask, what happens to the al Qaeda cells and other military groups rampant in Sinai? Up until now Iran and Hamas ran their ties with those terrorists on separate tracks. Will they now effect a merger?

A note of foreboding on this score was struck by Israeli Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Benny Gantz Sunday, Sept. 23, when he toured the scene of the last shootout with Sinai terrorists. “The Sinai border will continue to present us with a challenge,” he said. “We have made a colossal effort in the last two years to seal off the Egyptian border and it will be done. But even then, the threat will not disappear.”

Iran Pours More Troops Into Syria Ready To Target Israel From Syria And Lebanon

The Syrian Internal Military Conflict Goes International

The Winds of the Coming War Clearly Intensify

Iran Wants to Preempt Israel’s Attack

.

Iran continues to fly military personnel and quantities of weapons into Syria by civilian aircraft which cut through Iraqi airspace, American intelligence sources disclosed early Thursday, Sept. 20. UN Secretary General Ban ki-Moon also said that, “Unfortunately, both [Syrian] sides, government and opposition forces, seem to be determined to see the end by military means.”

Clearly, Iran is augmenting its military involvement in the constantly escalating Syrian civil war, broadening it into a multinational conflict which threatens to drag Lebanon in, by means of the Iranian-Syrian ally, Hizballah.

The UN Secretary General’s statement implying that the two Syrian sides are determined to fight to the bitter end is echoed in Iran’s resolve to fight to the bitter end for Assad, on Syrian soil.

Tehran is not hiding its actions. Sunday, Sept. 16, Iranian Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) Commander Gen. Ali Jafari said openly that Al Qods Brigades units were present and operational in both Syria and Lebanon.

No comment on this revelation has come from the US, Israel or Israel’s military (IDF) chiefs — notwithstanding its menacing import, namely, that Tehran is no longer hanging about and waiting for its nuclear program to be attacked in order to punish Israel, but is getting ready for a pre-emptive operation.

Still, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak have chosen silence in the face of what any other nation would regard as a casus belli: the open deployment of enemy forces on its northern and eastern borders. This must have been the catalyst for the IDF’s surprise two-division strength drill Wednesday on Israel’s Golan border with Syria. But the IDF spokesman sounded almost apologetic when he explained that the exercise had nothing to do with the events in Syria or with Hizballah, and that it was no more than a routine drill for testing preparedness.

debkafile’s military sources say that, in the current climate, no military operation by any army on the Syrian border – especially one of this magnitude – may be regarded as “routine.” Only a week ago, the Golani Brigade concluded a large military exercise in northern Israel including the Golan. That sort of frequency must have operational connotations: The IDF is evidently keeping the army on the move and in a constant state of readiness to fight a real war without delay on terrain made familiar by repeated war games. IDF Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Benny Gantz has a penchant for expressing himself through symbols, his method of overcoming the restrictions placed on his tongue by military and other constraints.

On New Year’s Eve last week, the general handed military correspondents a small gift: The Hebrew edition of the American writer Richard David Bach‘s “There’s No Such Place as Far Away.”

For the Golan drill Wednesday, he decided to attach Maj. Gen. (res.) Nati Sharoni, chief artillery officer in the 1973 Yom Kippur War, to his party of advisers and observers. The book was a clear message to Tehran and doubting Thomases at home that the IDF is fully capable of an operation against Iran’s nuclear program and of successfully accomplishing any mission far from its shores.

Gen. Sharoni’s presence at the Golan exercise, and the exercise itself, was a warning to Iran, Hizballah and Syria that they will be disappointed if they hope to catch Israel unready, as it was by the surprise attack which almost overcame the IDF 39 years ago on Yom Kippur before the tide of war was turned back against Egypt.

Is The World On The Verge Of Total War? — World War III Is Upon Us — We Need Moshiach Now!

The World Is Barreling Down Toward An Abyss

Only HaShem Can Save Israel and Humanity by Sending Moshiach Soon

.

Islam is a Religion of Violence

.

Never has our world been in such a lethal danger of a worldwide cataclysmic war as now.  Here is a summary of some of the issues that proves where the world stands:

— Unable to reach a compromise, South Africa is now in an all out labor strike, with the brutal police again firing rubber bullets at miners with lethal escalation guaranteed

—  Back from vacation, the once again penniless citizens of Spain, Greece, and Portugal have resumed protesting austerity.

—  Traitor Obama, a Muslim mole in the White House, succeeds at demoting the credit rating of America for the second time in his tenure, a first for any American president including disastrous Jimmy Carter.  Notwithstanding, Obama presses on wilfully expending the entire country into oblivion.  In less than four years of intentional misgovernment, this Muslim Kenyan usurper has more than tripled the American debt, which is quite a record in itself.  America is living on borrowed time, pun intended.

—  The American Federal Reserve continues with its trigger happy policy of printing worthless dollar bills.

—  US embassies attacked, in many cases with numerous casualties, in Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Morocco, Sudan, Lebanon, India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, and other places.

—  Japan “appropriates” some China-contested islands provoking a firestorm of retaliation including demands for “war with Japan

—  The Japanese ambassador to China dies “mysteriously” complicating things even more.

—  Chief “Palestinian” terrorist Mahmoud Abbas says that he is thinking in canceling the Oslo Accords between the PA and Israel as an excuse to declare a new Intifada.

—  Netanyahu tells Meet the Press that Iran will have a nuke in six-seven months and must be stopped before that happens.

—  Warships from more than 30 countries, including the United States, England, France, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, launch a military exercise in the Straits of Hormuz

—  A third US aircraft carrier – the CVN-74 Stennis – is en route to Iran with an ETA of about 10 days

—  A potential catalyst to light this whole mess on fire is Iran’s Revolutionary Guard announcing that its troops are now on the ground in Syria.

—  And more…

We read from Reuters:

Members of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) are providing non-military assistance in Syria and Iran may get involved militarily if its closest ally comes under attack, commander-in-chief Mohammad Ali Jafari said on Sunday.

Jafari’s statement is the first official acknowledgement that Iran has a military presence on the ground in Syria where an 18-month-old uprising has left tens of thousands dead.

Western countries and Syrian opposition groups have long suspected Iran has troops in Syria. Iran had denied this.

“A number of members of the Qods force are present in Syria but this does not constitute a military presence,” Iranian news agency ISNA quoted Jafari as saying at a news conference.

Qods is an IRGC unit set up to export Iran’s ideology. It has been accused of plotting attacks inside Iraq since the overthrow of Saddam Hussein.

Jafari did not indicate how many IRGC members were in Syria but said they were providing “intellectual and advisory help”.

The Islamic Republic has backed Syria’s President Bashar al-Assad since the crisis began and regards his rule as a key part of its axis of terrorist resistance against Israel and Sunni Arab states.

Jafari also said Iran would change its policy and offer military backing if Syria came under attack.

“I say specifically that if Syria came under military attack, Iran would also give military support but it … totally depends on the circumstances,” he said.

Next up: satellite photos confirming beyond a reasonable doubt that weapons of mass destruction are being prepared for usage, and a preemptive war is the only way to preserve peace.

What is perfectly obvious to anyone but the most jaded and biased, is that the West will use any opportunity of conflict escalation which in turn will send crude, and gas, prices soaring, to commence the launch of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve release, arguably at just the right time to push down gas prices, which have never been higher on this day in history. “Right time”, because any SPR release will have the short-term benefit of boosting Obama’s re-election chances even more, even if it means surging gas prices after the election.

The reality of course is that the bulk of upside pressure on commodity (crude and gas included) prices is as a result of the Fed and ECB’s recent monetization expansion and liquidity tsunami, which does the usual: soothes the symptoms for a few weeks, crushes volatility and creates the impression that all is well…. if only to lead to yet another far more grave outcome. And since there is now officially no limit much debt the Fed will monetize, there is so no limit on how high commodity prices will go.

So while in reality any war, supposedly one which is “regional” and “contained” will merely be a smokescreen to the central banks officially taking over ownership of the insolvent developed world, the likelihood is that a war will neither be “regional” nor “contained” as both countries that make up the axis of a future hard-backed currency, China and Russia, have already made it quite clear that any intervention by the US in regions they themselves consider strategic, such as the Senkaku Islands, Syria and/or Iran, will result in retaliation.  And any retaliation by one or more rising superpowers to another fading superpower, will inevitably lead to yet another World War, WW3.

We surely need Moshiach NOW.

Syria Tested A Chemical Weapons Delivery System In August

The Test was Conducted with the Help of the Iranian Military

Israel, the Syrian Rebels and Turkey Are their Target

Islamic Countries Are a Constant threat to Humanity

.

The German weekly Der Spiegel quotes witnesses as saying that Iranian officers were flown in for testing of chemical weapons in Syria‘s desert

Syria tested delivery systems for chemical weapons at the end of August, according to the German weekly Der Spiegel.  The report, which quotes various witnesses, said that the tests took place near a chemical weapons research center at al-Safir, east of Aleppo, and were carried out with the aid of Iranian officers who were flown in for the testing.

According to the report, five or six empty shells capable of delivering poison gas were fired by tanks and aircraft at the site of Diraiham in the desert, near the village of Khanasir. The report said that scientists from Iran and North Koreaare said to work in the al-Safir research center, which is Syria’s largest testing site for chemical weapons.

Earlier this month, the Washington Post reported that the Syrian government has storied its chemical weapons and materials in some twenty sites around the country.  The report cited unnamed American and Middle Eastern officials, who also said there could be additional sites of which they were unaware.

The officials said their governments believe Syria has several tons of chemical weapons and materials, including weapons-ready sarin gas, and that the most dangerous elements of the arsenal are stored in bunkers.  The officials also said that U.S. intelligence agencies are monitoring the facilities, and have plans to secure them in the event that the situation in the country spins further out of control.  They added that the country’s chemical weapons arsenal was developed for use against Israel in a war, with the help of North Korea and Russia.
