The Betrayal of Israel By Hidden Islamist Barack Hussein Obama Is Undeniable And Evident

History not only repeats itself to boredom,
but also to tragic, repeated, and totally unnecessary consequences

In recovery and pop psychology circles there is a widely popularized definition of insanity which goes:  “Insanity is repeating over and over the same action while expecting a different result.”  What an undebatable truism!

Israel has run down many times the same treaded path upon which we are at this moment with respect to the genocidal bellicosity of an enemy (currently Iran) the emboldened Muslim Arab mob of the Middle East, and the hope and trust that many in Israel — chief among them the last several governments — have deposited on a deceitful “friend” (currently America).  Yes, yestercentury our hope was on the help of Egypt, and nowadays we do the same with the United States of America.  Make no mistake, the result shalll surely be the same; and if we expect something different is because we are entirely delusional, and therefore insane.

Isaiah 31:1
Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help and rely on horses; and to those who trust in chariots because they are many, and in horsemen because they are very strong, but they do not look for the The Holy One of Israel, neither seek HaShem!

.

Isaiah 36:6
Behold, you trust in the staff of this broken reed — on Egypt — on which if a man leans it will go into his palm and pierce it!  So is Pharaoh King of Egypt to all that trust in him.

.

Isaiah 36:9
How then will you turn away the face of one Officer of the least of my Master’s Servants, and put your trust upon Egypt for chariots and for horsemen??!!

.

2 King 15-17
15  And when the servant of the Man of G-d (Prophet Elisha) was risen early, and went forth, behold, an army surrounded the city with horses and chariots.   And his servant said unto him: “Oy, my lord!  What shall we do?”  16  And he answered, “Do not fear because those who are with us are many more than those that are with them.”  17  And Elishah prayed and said:  “Hashem, open now his eyes so that he can see.”  And HaShem opened the eyes of the servant and he saw; and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire were all around Elishah.

Anti-Semite US president Franklin Delano Roosevelt (FDR) may very well have told American Jewish leaders who came to him pleading for his help in the rescue of the trapped Jews of Europe in the early 1940s something similar to what was uttered by president Barack Obama last March at the AIPAC conference in Washington: “There should not be a shred of doubt by now: when the chips are down, I have Israel’s back.” Like his Democratic Party predecessor, Obama has deceivingly expressed comforting words to American Jewish leaders, but has refrained from taking decisive action that would substantiate his words. An example of which is the last round of sanctions against Iran that were brought to the President’s desk in December 2011 by Senators Menendez (D) and Kirk (R), and endorsed in the Senate 100-0, that Obama sought to change the language of and diminish its intent.

Republican U.S. Congressman Hamilton Fish (R-NY) accused FDR in the 1940s, as news of death camps was unfolding, of “spiritual anesthesia” for not taking a stand to save the European Jews. According to Fish FDR’s silence may have been the deciding factor in Hitler’s execution of the “Final Solution.”  Fish argued that had “FDR made a definitive announcement out of the White House, it might well have stopped the megalomaniac Hitler or at least brought home the truth to the German and Polish people, most of whom probably knew little of Hitler’s extermination policy.”

Obama is a Muslim enemy of IsraelIn a similar vein, had Obama made a definitive statement that declared America’s “red lines” on Iran’s nuclear weapons development, and the consequences for Tehran of crossing such lines, the present situation, which threatens the lives of six million Jews in Israel and elsewhere, would not have arisen.  Instead, Obama dispatched the chairman of the Joint Chief of Staff General Martin Dempsey to express opposition to a unilateral Israeli military action against Iran.  Dempsey shamelessly said in London, “I don’t want to be complicit if they (Israel) choose to do it.”  Evidently he and his nefarious boss in Washington prefer to be complicit in the genocide of more than 6,000,000 Jews in Israel, thus equating themselves to the Nazis of Germany.

According to the September 3, 2012 Israeli daily Yediot Ahronot,

The Obama administration, informed Iran via two European nations, that it would not back an Israeli strike against Iran’s nuclear facilities, as long as Tehran refrains from attacking American interests in the Persian Gulf.”

Obama is a Muslim traitorIn late March of this year, former U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. John Bolton told Fox News that the Obama administration leaked a story which revealed that Israel had been granted access to airfields in Azerbaijan located along Iran’s northern border.  Bolton was responding to a Foreign Policy magazine article, and stated on Fox “I think this leak today is part of the administration’s campaign against an Israeli attack on Iran.”  He went on to say that a strike from Azerbaijan “would be much easier for the Israelis than a strike launched from their own country — jets could stay over their target longer and worry less about refueling.”  Bolton added, that “tipping the Israelis’ hand by revealing very sensitive, very important information could frustrate such a plan.”

In his book, ‘Obama’s Betrayal of Israel’, author Michael Ledeen provides evidence that President Obama is uninterested in Israel’s security and that he constantly sends messages to the world to that effect.  Ledeen writes that Obama personally attended a ceremony awarding the Presidential Medal of Freedom to Israel basher Mary Robinson.  She is the former Irish PM and the UN official who presided over the infamous anti-Israel Durban Conference in 2001.

Obama’s claim that American support for Israel is “unbreakable” is either naïve or disingenuous.  Clearly, one cannot claim to be dedicated to Israel’s security and at the same time advocate a Palestinian State.  Hamas declares its intentions to eradicate the Jewish state openly and regularly, while in Ramallah, Palestinian Authority chairman Mahmoud Abbas seeks a unity government with Hamas, and rejects direct negotiations with Israel.  But there is more

  1. Earlier this year Obama authorized $192 million to go the Palestinian Authority.
  2. He lifted the ban on financial aid to the Palestinian Authority imposed by the U.S. Congress, claiming that it was “important to the security interests of the United States”!
  3. Similarly, Obama continues to support the Muslim Brotherhood regime in Cairo with $1.2 billion in U.S. taxpayer money.
  4. At the same time, Obama is refusing to meet Netanyahu later this month, following his humiliating treatment of Netanyahu on a previous visit to the Obama White House.

Israelis, according to Ledeen, get the picture, and in a recent poll, only 4% of Israelis said that they thought B. Hussein Obama’s policies were supportive of Israel.  In other words, 96% considered Obama unfriendly towards Israel.  Actually, we believe he is an Islamic enemy of Israel.

There are two ways to implement the destruction of Israel is:

  1. to enable Iran to acquire nuclear weapons and
  2. tie Israel’s hands by preventing it from striking Iran preemptively while there is still time.

Well, Obama has blocked Israel from destroying Iran’s nuclear facilities, and he is shameless and tirelessly doing all he can to make sure Iran gets the time it needs to produce a nuclear bomb.  The useless 5+1 talks with Iran certainly bought time for Iran, and the U.S. sanctions imposed against Iran have had some impact on the Iranian economy, but didn’t halt Iran’s race towards a nuclear weapon.

Obama is as well aware of these facts just as FDR knew of the gas chambers in Auschwitz.  Another way of undermining Israel is by fostering a terror-prone “Palestinian” State, and that is what Obama has done.

In a recent interview on Israel’s Arutz Sheva, former Israeli Ambassador to the U.S. Zalman Shoval said that Israeli and U.S. interests diverged when it came to Iran. “We need to get used to the fact that, as usual, we are alone.”  A diplomat, Shoval was careful not to point a finger at Obama but the implications of Obama’s policies are clear. Shoval did however compare the current situation with the days before the Six Day War, when Israel received no support from the Johnson Administration, and was told point-blank by President Johnson that if Israel took the initiative and attacked Egypt, it would have to suffer the consequences, despite the fact that Egypt had committed an act of war by closing off the Straits of Tiran.

The difference today, as compared to 1967, is that Israel’s enemy – Iran – might use a nuclear weapon that could incinerate a sizeable portion of Israel.

According to Shoval, the U.S. knows that it must prevent Iran from going nuclear – not to save Israel, of course, but to save its strategic position in the world, and in the Middle East in particular. Eventually, Shoval said, the U.S. might act, but by the time they do it may be too late. The U.S., he added, wants to put off the confrontation with Iran for a year or two, but every delay gives the Iran another advantage. Obama, as Shoval sees it, is much more interested in being reelected than dealing with the Iranian threat. And, should he be reelected, his domestic concerns, i.e. the economy, will trump national security issues such as Iran.

The Iranian-based Press TV reported on September 11, 2012 that “The U.S. rebuffed Israel over Iran ‘red lines’.”  Prime Minister Netanyahu had called for the U.S. to declare “red lines” over Tehran’s nuclear program on Sunday (9/9/12), warning that in the absence of such a statement Iranian officials would not take seriously Washington’s implied threat of military action. “The sooner we establish one, the greater the chances that there won’t be a need for other types of action,” he told Canada’s CBC News. Asked on Sunday (9/9/12) whether the administration would set out red lines or deadlines, Hillary Clinton, the U.S. Secretary of State replied on Bloomberg Radio that “We are not setting deadlines.”

In an entry in Assistant Secretary of State Breckinridge Long’s dairy on October 3, 1940, he noted that President Roosevelt (FDR) supported his policy of encouraging U.S. consulates to “postpone, and postpone and postpone” the granting of visas to European Jews.  This is reminiscent of Obama’s policy of postponing action against Iran.  The results may be the same, the betrayal of Israel’s Jews … but this time around HaShem is going to pass the final Bbill to America.  Some or many Jews shall fall but the total doom of America is truly at hand.

Is The World On The Verge Of Total War? — World War III Is Upon Us — We Need Moshiach Now!

The World Is Barreling Down Toward An Abyss

Only HaShem Can Save Israel and Humanity by Sending Moshiach Soon

.

Islam is a Religion of Violence

.

Never has our world been in such a lethal danger of a worldwide cataclysmic war as now.  Here is a summary of some of the issues that proves where the world stands:

— Unable to reach a compromise, South Africa is now in an all out labor strike, with the brutal police again firing rubber bullets at miners with lethal escalation guaranteed

—  Back from vacation, the once again penniless citizens of Spain, Greece, and Portugal have resumed protesting austerity.

—  Traitor Obama, a Muslim mole in the White House, succeeds at demoting the credit rating of America for the second time in his tenure, a first for any American president including disastrous Jimmy Carter.  Notwithstanding, Obama presses on wilfully expending the entire country into oblivion.  In less than four years of intentional misgovernment, this Muslim Kenyan usurper has more than tripled the American debt, which is quite a record in itself.  America is living on borrowed time, pun intended.

—  The American Federal Reserve continues with its trigger happy policy of printing worthless dollar bills.

—  US embassies attacked, in many cases with numerous casualties, in Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Morocco, Sudan, Lebanon, India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, and other places.

—  Japan “appropriates” some China-contested islands provoking a firestorm of retaliation including demands for “war with Japan

—  The Japanese ambassador to China dies “mysteriously” complicating things even more.

—  Chief “Palestinian” terrorist Mahmoud Abbas says that he is thinking in canceling the Oslo Accords between the PA and Israel as an excuse to declare a new Intifada.

—  Netanyahu tells Meet the Press that Iran will have a nuke in six-seven months and must be stopped before that happens.

—  Warships from more than 30 countries, including the United States, England, France, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, launch a military exercise in the Straits of Hormuz

—  A third US aircraft carrier – the CVN-74 Stennis – is en route to Iran with an ETA of about 10 days

—  A potential catalyst to light this whole mess on fire is Iran’s Revolutionary Guard announcing that its troops are now on the ground in Syria.

—  And more…

We read from Reuters:

Members of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) are providing non-military assistance in Syria and Iran may get involved militarily if its closest ally comes under attack, commander-in-chief Mohammad Ali Jafari said on Sunday.

Jafari’s statement is the first official acknowledgement that Iran has a military presence on the ground in Syria where an 18-month-old uprising has left tens of thousands dead.

Western countries and Syrian opposition groups have long suspected Iran has troops in Syria. Iran had denied this.

“A number of members of the Qods force are present in Syria but this does not constitute a military presence,” Iranian news agency ISNA quoted Jafari as saying at a news conference.

Qods is an IRGC unit set up to export Iran’s ideology. It has been accused of plotting attacks inside Iraq since the overthrow of Saddam Hussein.

Jafari did not indicate how many IRGC members were in Syria but said they were providing “intellectual and advisory help”.

The Islamic Republic has backed Syria’s President Bashar al-Assad since the crisis began and regards his rule as a key part of its axis of terrorist resistance against Israel and Sunni Arab states.

Jafari also said Iran would change its policy and offer military backing if Syria came under attack.

“I say specifically that if Syria came under military attack, Iran would also give military support but it … totally depends on the circumstances,” he said.

Next up: satellite photos confirming beyond a reasonable doubt that weapons of mass destruction are being prepared for usage, and a preemptive war is the only way to preserve peace.

What is perfectly obvious to anyone but the most jaded and biased, is that the West will use any opportunity of conflict escalation which in turn will send crude, and gas, prices soaring, to commence the launch of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve release, arguably at just the right time to push down gas prices, which have never been higher on this day in history. “Right time”, because any SPR release will have the short-term benefit of boosting Obama’s re-election chances even more, even if it means surging gas prices after the election.

The reality of course is that the bulk of upside pressure on commodity (crude and gas included) prices is as a result of the Fed and ECB’s recent monetization expansion and liquidity tsunami, which does the usual: soothes the symptoms for a few weeks, crushes volatility and creates the impression that all is well…. if only to lead to yet another far more grave outcome. And since there is now officially no limit much debt the Fed will monetize, there is so no limit on how high commodity prices will go.

So while in reality any war, supposedly one which is “regional” and “contained” will merely be a smokescreen to the central banks officially taking over ownership of the insolvent developed world, the likelihood is that a war will neither be “regional” nor “contained” as both countries that make up the axis of a future hard-backed currency, China and Russia, have already made it quite clear that any intervention by the US in regions they themselves consider strategic, such as the Senkaku Islands, Syria and/or Iran, will result in retaliation.  And any retaliation by one or more rising superpowers to another fading superpower, will inevitably lead to yet another World War, WW3.

We surely need Moshiach NOW.

Bible Codes Seem to Indicate the Reelection of Barack Hussein Obama

.

A Prediction Worth Considering

By Ya’akov Peretz
Be’er Sheva, Israel

Rabbi Matityahu Glazerson, and expert in the Torah Codes, has found an interesting Table that seems to point toward the reelection of that treasonous Islamic Mole Barack Hussein Obama.  Is Obama Urmilus?  Certainly he is Anti-Israel, and in his second term all the American Jews shall find, to their utmost horror that he truly is an anti-Semite.

.

.

In 1959 I was living in Cuba and I heard Castro say on TV that all the accusations that some people were circulating in reference to him being a Communist were “absolutely false;” and then he pronounced the famous but highly deceiving words that most Cubans wanted at that time to believe:  “This Revolution is not Red!  It is Green, green as our palm trees.”  The palm tree is the Cuban national tree and a symbol of Cuban nationalism.  The Cuban people of at that time took the same attitude that Americans have taken with Obama nowadays:  Why doubt his own word about himself, right?

Well, three years after his denial of being Communist, in April 1962, when Castro had already achieved his total military control over the island, he shamelessly confessed also on TV:  “I am – and have always being – a Communist!  And this Revolution is, and will be, Communist.”  Of course, by then it was too late. Cubans found a shred of hope in trying and leave the enslaved island. Most Americans will have no place to run to when Obama comes out “clean” in his second term as who he really is.

Torah Code on Obama

Sadly, the fall of America is at hand.

What Obama Talks About When He Talks About Islam

Obama celebrating Ramadan at the White House
Barack Obama celebrates the Islamic month of Ramadan with a dinner at the White House on Friday, August 10, 2012

.

Barack Obama’s initial six months in the presidency were rich in symbolics. No one could have misunderstood his intention when he anointed Al-Arabiya, Dubai-based and Saudi-owned, to be the first of the world’s television networks to interview him from the White House.

Obama Bowing to the Head of Islam

Demonstrating his true allegiance, Barak Hussein Obama bows to the ruthless tyrant of Saudi Arabia, who happens to be the main figure of Islam since he is the Guardian of the Ka’aba

Not surprisingly, the reporter began by asking what Obama meant when he promised “aggressive peacemaking between the Palestinians and the Israelis.” The president responded lamely by alluding to George Mitchell, his already-designated special envoy to the problem, as “somebody of enormous stature. He is one of the few people who have international experience brokering peace deals.” As if the nasty Irish quarrel was at all comparable to the historical and meta-historical warfare between Zion and Araby. Then, two more fawning asides about Mitchell, thought of as the deus ex machina for the president’s predicament, and one allusion to King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia for having “great courage,” a prelude to Obama’s undignified curtsy in Riyadh.

When Obama speaks about Islam it is mostly blah, blah, blah:

“…the same respect and partnership that America had with the Muslim world as recently as 20 or 30 years ago, there’s no reason we can’t restore that.”

Did not Obama realize, did not his advisers tell him, that the very day he was addressing the Islamic orbit was the 30th anniversary of the shah’s abdication? The Ayatollah Khomeini wrote the acrid script for American-Islamic relations from 1979 onwards, exacerbating the ongoing conflict in Lebanon (where 17 American diplomats and then 241 US Marines were murdered in two separate incidents, and 56 French soldiers besides), sharpening the hostility of Syria toward the West, eroding the progressive reforms — yes, the shah’s progressive reforms — in Iran itself. And how about Obama’s careless reference to peace two decades back? The Gulf War, for one, which really was the beginning of the conflict against Saddam Hussein that has not yet ended, and, since it was always a sectarian conflict, will not likely end soon. The Afghani fratricide is an antique phenomenon, reinvigorated by Obama himself as the “yes, we can” war, but now being left to fester, ancient hatreds on ancient turf, and spread to the paradigmatic non-nation-state of Pakistan.

So is Islam a religion of peace, even if you set aside Syria and Yemen, Mali, Nigeria and all the others? Will some Muslim leaders, somewhere, anywhere, call their faithful to the streets to protest and condemn the ritual fratricide of their own?

The always repetitive message to all of us from the "loving" and "friendly" religion of &qout;peace"

Ah, the always repeated message to all of us from the “loving” and “friendly” followers of the religion of &qout;peace.” Have you ever wondered why you never hear so-called “moderate” Muslims decry the terrorists?

Actually, no one expected Obama to call attention to the Turkish genocide against the Armenians on his visit to Turkey that April. Unlike the Germans, who are hewn to a philosophical tradition of guilt and remorse and have put themselves and their youth through an unforgiving struggle of conscience, Islam does not traffic in matters of collective guilt and remorse. These are not categories of the faith, and Obama did not nothing to disturb the self-satisfied temper of the faithful. Having anointed Recep Tayyip Erdogan his favorite Muslim, he brought comfort, if not exactly good cheer, to Ankara. The most brazen instance, given the fact that America is not a member of the European Union and that the Europeans do not trust him, was the president’s endorsement of Turkey’s admission to the common market. If anything, Obama’s advice left the continent very much peeved. Where does he come off telling us who is family?

He also had an assignment for Turkey in resolving the historic struggle between Israel and the neighborhood within which it lives. “Like the United States,” Obama declared in a sloppy, all-too-facile analogy, “Turkey has been a friend and partner in Israel’s quest for security.” Now, the fact is that the editor of this very page was perhaps the first American journalist to chronicle the Erdoganian view of the world and his weird affinities for weirder allies. Already in 2006, he had noticed the prime minister’s weakness for the body parts blood libel implicating both Israel and our country. Apparently, neither the president nor his scriptwriters were aware of the cranky Ottomanist elements in Erdogan’s Middle East strategy. Anyway, Ankara has never let go of the Mavi Marmara pretension that you can break a legal international blockade against a rogue not-at-all statelet without cost or intervention. What was Netanyahu to do? Let the Turkish “humanitarians” run the blockade and invite anyone and everyone to follow suit?

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan an Obama

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and president Barack Obama in the Oval Office planning … hmm, exactly what? Dec. 7, 2009.

The fact is that Obama is afflicted with a certain Turkomania, and it persuaded him that the US could trust Erdogan’s lead in Syria, way past the time he had shown that he was not inclined to do so. Erdogan suffers from Kurdophobia, which stays his hand in Syria, however much his early but sudden antagonism to the Assad regime in the civil war may have suggested otherwise. Indeed, as soon as Turkey let pass the shooting down of its bomber by Damascus, it no longer had credibility as a big player in the conflict. But Obama had trusted Erdogan to lead, and, predictably, he did not.

The White House and Foggy Bottom had many flimsy excuses for not moving forcefully against Assad. What they amounted to was that, if America really intervened, it would intensify the carnage on both sides. And shift the leadership to the extremists. But that is exactly what has occurred with the rebels because there was trivial assistance, and the rough guys take over when desperation sets in. Yet Assad’s fascist rule has not fundamentally changed. Indeed, his leadership was indulged for some time by the president and his underlings. Of course, the Syrian people would have continued to suffer. The key to the goodies was that Israel would pay the price by forfeiting the Golan Heights. Not since the ’30s had the American elite been so blasse about its dealings with ideological trash that had much blood on its hands. And it wasn’t only Anna Wintour who would make the dictator voguish. Harvard, the school where I taught for more than four decades, held a meeting of its Arab Alumni Association in Damascus last year, with Professor Jorge Dominguez, vice provost for international affairs, as a speaker. Blood was already flowing in the streets of Syrian cities and towns. And who was the other star to address the crowd? The wife of the tyrant. I suppose that this can be seen as a defense of free speech.

The third of the president’s Middle East extravaganzas at the beginning of his tenure was the speech in Cairo. One doubts that Obama would be embarrassed by his text. After all, he does not make mistakes! But maybe, if we had a secretary of state like Dean Acheson or George Shultz instead of Hillary Clinton, he could be made to be mortified by its strange medley of geeky innocence and high moral cynicism. (Have you noticed on the State Department website feature, “Travels With The Secretary?” 102 countries, 352 travel days, 843,450 miles. This is not a formula for analytic depth.) Our chief executive clearly has no patience for depth, which may be why he and the mistress of our diplomatic corps get along so well. Even a cursory rereading of his June 2009 text would expose how deeply he does not understand the region and its doctrines, its peoples and their excuses. Virtually nothing — no fact, no insight — has survived from the president’s self-confident Al Aqsa prayer meeting only 38 months ago.

Of course, what Obama considered the most serious unsolved foreign challenge to the United States was the question of Palestine, or, to be more precise, the question of the Arabs of Palestine, now referred to as the Palestinians. The world has given them — through the United Nations with its various redundant organs (what do they all do?), the support of the sloppy moralists (like Norway, Sweden, unworthy South Africa) and the up-for-purchase so-called non-aligned — the phony backing that they see as near unanimous support. The fact is, the Palestinians are further away from having their Palestine than at anytime since 1967. Or maybe 1947. The General Assembly may in its next session sanction an Arab government called Palestine, as it did 65 years ago, when the British ran away from their Mandate while the Jews picked up half of it and turned an established society into a nation-state. What kept Arab Palestine from becoming Palestine at that time were Egypt and Jordan, and the fact that Palestinian society was a primitive and fractured collection of clans and tribes as far from nationhood as other countries which the British abandoned in the post-war period.

In any case, who really cares what the General Assembly does or, for that matter, what the Security Council does or does not do? Kofi Annan is the prototype for the UN: cocksure but irrelevant, really altogether beside the point. Nothing the UN does will affect the lives of the Palestinians. What keeps Palestine from becoming Palestine now is that most — indeed almost all — of the Palestinians do not recognize the Jewish state and its history. Which is really why they won’t negotiate. Which is also why they return again and again to the empty geographical formula of the armistice lines of 1949.

Those lines are a fiction, even if they are called “1967 lines,” which is the Arab attempt to show they are up-to-date. History may wait for a while. But it does not stop. The State of Israel, which (mostly) desires to be freed from the burden of Palestine and the Palestinians, will not accept a “peace” that leaves it open — because of its size and its turf, because of its vulnerability as a free society to terror, because of their obsessions with false and falsified history, because of their indifference to such civilized rules of war as are still possible — to the unappeasable resentments of time.

It is a pity that Obama took his foreign policy imperative from Rashid Khalidi in fixing on the issue of Palestine as uniquely his own. The issue that is most important is Iran and nuclear weapons, and this has also fundamentally affected the Palestine question. If Iran secures the bomb, so will Saudi Arabia, Turkey, even Egypt. For three and a half years Obama deceived himself into thinking that somehow he had, he could, he would, with suasion and goodwill, talk the Persians into giving up the ultimate weapon. Then he did “sanctions,” ever so slowly and piecemeal. Did the president not grasp the urgency of time? The further Iran went in securing the atom for itself, the more difficult it would be for it to give it up. That is where we are now: Iran on the cusp of possession, the Arabs in agitated nowhere, the Palestinians fooling themselves that statehood is only a step or two away. And Israel? A free and pleasant place to visit and to live, with many grounds, both old and new, to worry.
